Fabrício Assis returns to filming ‘Por Você’ after traffic accident

Actor Fabrício Assis, who plays the character Ítalo in the Globo telenovela ‘Por Você’, has returned to filming after a temporary hiatus caused by a traffic accident.

His sudden absence from recent episodes led to speculation among viewers on social media, as his character was mentioned in scenes but did not appear physically. In response to the public interest, Globo issued a statement confirming that Assis had been recovering from the accident and received full assistance from the network.

To accommodate his recovery, the production team adapted the scripts to preserve the character's narrative arc without changing his long-term trajectory. Assis resumed work on Tuesday, September 29, a return confirmed by fellow cast members Laura Luz and Lucy Ramos via social media.
