Actor Géza D. Hegedűs returns to stage after injury

Hungarian actor Géza D. Hegedűs has returned to the stage at the Vígszínház after an eighteen-month absence. His return follows a serious knee injury and subsequent prosthetic surgery that required an extensive rehabilitation process.

Hegedűs recently performed the role of Sorin in a production of Chekhov’s ‘Uncle Vanya’, which drew significant audience attention. During a broadcast of the television program ‘Sztárban Sztár’, host András Stohl and judge Claudia Liptai celebrated his recovery and successful return to acting.

Liptai, a former student of Hegedűs at the University of Theatre and Film Arts, extended an invitation for the actor to participate in the upcoming season of the musical competition show. Hegedűs expressed enthusiastic interest in the proposal, noting his curiosity about the opportunity.
