Actor José Condessa returns to Benfica to play futsal

Portuguese actor José Condessa has returned to S.L. Benfica to train with the senior B futsal team. The 29-year-old, who began his athletic training at the club's academy at age five, previously had his football career interrupted by a serious Achilles tendon injury.

Condessa, who has spent recent years playing for Nisa Futsal Clube, described the opportunity to represent his childhood club again as a “great pride.” While he continues to prioritize his acting career, he views the return to the club as an important mental escape and a way to pursue a lifelong passion.
