Actor Kris Petrovski discusses Hollywood career and roots

Macedonian-born actor Kris Petrovski, originally from Bitola, has joined the cast of the Netflix horror film ‘The Boy in the Iron Box’, produced by Guillermo del Toro. Petrovski, who moved to New Zealand at age five, studied at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles after receiving a scholarship at age 18.

Known for his role as Dmitri Petrov in ‘Madam Secretary’, his credits include ‘Ray Donovan: The Movie’, ‘FBI’, ‘NCIS’, ‘The Blacklist’, and ‘The Rookie: Feds’. Beyond acting, Petrovski is a boxing coach and acting instructor. He is married to actress Alejandra Lemus.
