Asian entertainers announce major personal milestones and new parenthood

Several prominent entertainers in Asia have recently announced major personal milestones regarding parenthood.

Japanese actor Keita Machida and actress Hyunri released a joint statement confirming the birth of their first child. The couple, who married in 2022, expressed their gratitude and commitment to growing as parents while continuing their acting careers.

Former KAT-TUN member Junnosuke Taguchi also announced via his YouTube channel that he has married a non-celebrity woman and welcomed a first son. His announcement included a brief appearance by his wife on TikTok.

In Hong Kong, actor Vincent Lie shared news of becoming a father on the Mid-Autumn Festival, posting a photo of a baby's hand alongside mooncakes. Additionally, actress Linna Wong announced the birth of her first son, sharing her experiences with breastfeeding on social media.

Singer CY (Chan Chung-chak) also confirmed he is expecting his first child, a boy, and shared plans to involve his future son in his upcoming wedding ceremony.
