After filming concluded, the two began a relationship that led to a marriage proposal and official dating in June.

In a notable coincidence, the two couples involved in this news are connected by family. Cha Kyung Eun is the sister of Kim Seung Yoon, who is set to marry actor Jang Dong Yoon this month. This means the two men, Lee You Jin and Jang Dong Yoon, will become brothers-in-law. Both Lee and Jang have transitioned from acting careers into directing, and both couples met through the actors appearing in their respective directorial projects.
