Actor LK Akshay Kumar begins filming new crime drama

Actor LK Akshay Kumar, known for his role in ‘Sirai’, has commenced filming for an untitled crime drama. The project officially launched with a pooja ceremony in Chennai on Wednesday.

Directed by debutant Vishnu Amaran, who previously served as an assistant to H Vinoth, the film is produced by SS Lalit Kumar under Seven Screen Studio, with LK Vishnu Kumar serving as co-producer. The cast includes Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu and Chetan.

The production will film locations in Chennai, Kodaikanal, and Kolkata. Technical contributions include cinematography by Saravanan Ramasamy, music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, and action choreography by Action Santhosh. The launch event was attended by various industry figures, including directors H Vinoth and Siva.
