Actor Long Vũ discusses career path and working with mother Vân Dung

Actor Long Vũ, son of artist Vân Dung, has shared insights into his journey in the performing arts and his recent role in the series ‘Mùa hè năm ấy’. Despite his mother’s initial preference for him to study business for a more stable life, Long Vũ chose to enroll in the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema.

Vân Dung revealed that she was initially shocked by his decision and even refused to speak to him for a week. She noted that she intentionally did not use her influence to secure roles for him, encouraging him to audition independently to build his own career.

In his recent role as Khánh in ‘Mùa hè năm ấy’, Long Vũ worked alongside his mother. He noted that their deep mutual understanding allowed them to perform effectively together, as they both maintain high standards to ensure their performances surprise the audience.
