Actor Ma Ran Do rises from background roles to major film projects

Vietnamese actor Ma Ran Do has experienced a significant career transformation, moving from low-paid background roles to appearing in high-budget film projects. Born in 1997 in Pleiku, Gia Lai, the actor originally studied at Nong Lam University and was expected to pursue a career in forest protection before moving to Ho Chi Minh City to pursue acting.

During his early years in the industry, Ma Ran Do faced numerous challenges, including failing over 20 auditions and accepting roles with fees as low as 200,000 VND. He refined his craft through training with veteran artists and performing at the Hong Van Stage. His career gained momentum following appearances in music videos for artists such as Trung Quan and Thieu Bao Tram.
