Actor Milan Ondrík recounts life-threatening theatre fire accident
Slovak actor Milan Ondrík recently shared details regarding a life-threatening accident that occurred during a theatrical performance at Teatre Tatro approximately two years ago. While performing in the production ‘Majster a Margaréta’, Ondrík attempted a fire-breathing stunt that went wrong.
The actor reported that he accidentally inhaled or misdirected the flame, causing him to catch fire in front of the audience. The accident resulted in severe burns to his face, eyelids, cheeks, and hair. Following the incident, he was treated at a specialized burn clinic in the Ružinov hospital in Bratislava. Ondrík described the experience as a terrifying struggle for survival, noting that he felt as though he might die during the event.
