Actor Nico Vázquez Honored as Buenos Aires Cultural Personality

The Buenos Aires City Legislature awarded actor Nico Vázquez the title of Personalidad Destacada de la Cultura in recognition of his more than three‑decade career in Argentine television and commercial theatre. The ceremony took place in the Salón Dorado of the Legislative Palace and was led by Deputy Sebastián Nagata, who highlighted Vázquez’s long‑standing public support.

Prominent figures from the entertainment industry attended, including Adrián Suar, Gustavo Yankelevich, Georgina Barbarossa, Benjamín Rojas, Benjamín Amadeo, Mercedes Oviedo and others. Vázquez expressed his gratitude on Instagram, thanking his family, friends and fans for their loyalty and describing the honor as a commitment to continue inspiring audiences.

The event also featured musical performances, with Benjamín Amadeo singing “Para Siempre” and Germán Tripel delivering a rendition of “Eye of the Tiger.”
