Actor-producer Richa Chadha launches travel series Musafiri on YouTube in August

Indian actor-producer Richa Chadha is expanding into non‑fiction content with a new travel series titled “Musafiri.” Produced under her banner Pushing Buttons Studios, the YouTube show will debut in August. Drawing on her experience as a producer of the Sundance‑premiered documentary *Girls Will Be Girls*, Chadha said Musafiri aims to go beyond typical travel programming by delving into each destination’s history, traditions, food and people, encouraging viewers to develop a deeper appreciation of the places they visit.

The series will feature Chadha traveling to various locations, combining exploration with conversations that highlight local stories and cultures. Musafiri is positioned as both entertaining and educational content for a global audience on the free‑access platform.
