Actor Quoc Truong expands career with spicy noodle business

Vietnamese actor Quoc Truong, known for his role as Vu in the television series ‘Ve nha di con’, has gained attention for his successful business ventures outside of acting. Born in 1988 in Can Tho, Truong worked various jobs including selling lottery tickets, construction labor, and grocery vending before finding fame in the arts.

In 2015, Truong entered the food industry by co-founding a spicy noodle chain. Despite having no formal business training, he managed various aspects of the business, including market research, recipe development, and even working directly as a chef and cashier during the early stages. The business capitalized on the popularity of seven-level spicy noodles among young people and has since expanded into a widespread chain, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City.
