Actor Ricardo Teodoro exits Globoplay production Paraíso Perdido
Actor Ricardo Teodoro will no longer participate in the Globoplay original telenovela “Paraíso Perdido” due to scheduling conflicts. Teodoro, who is currently appearing as the character Joel in the TV Globo production “Quem Ama Cuida,” was unable to reconcile his current filming commitments with the production schedule for the new streaming series being filmed in Rio de Janeiro.
In “Paraíso Perdido,” Teodoro was cast to play a sex worker. The production, written by George Moura and Sergio Goldenberg and inspired by the works of Nelson Rodrigues, follows the life of businessman Heitor Werneck (Alexandre Nero), who owns a bus company in Rio de Janeiro. The plot involves complex family dynamics, including a secret affair between Werneck’s daughter, Maria Cecília (Alanis Guillen), and her brother-in-law, Peixoto (Eduardo Sterblitch).
