Actor Áron Molnár details difficult production of film Az örökség
Actor Áron Molnár has shared details regarding the challenging production of the film “Az örökség” (The Legacy), a project that took eight years to complete. Molnár stated that the film was shot in just 14 days under extreme constraints, including a very low budget and a lack of professional compensation, as the creators worked primarily out of their own resources.
According to Molnár, the production faced significant logistical hurdles, such as limited time for fight choreography and equipment malfunctions. He also noted that the filming coincided with an election campaign period and was complicated by ongoing political conflicts. Molnár mentioned facing personal defamatory claims and videos during the process.
In an interview alongside Tamás Lengyel, the actors discussed the film's complex characters and the decision to work without pay to bring the project to life. The film, written and directed by István Tasnádi, aims to present nuanced perspectives rather than black-and-white morality, exploring the various sides of human conflict.
