Actor Rubens Sabino alleges racism in Cabo Frio security confrontation

Actor Rubens Sabino, known for his role in the film ‘Cidade de Deus’, reported being a victim of racism and physical aggression during an incident in downtown Cabo Frio on Thursday.

According to witnesses and video footage, Sabino was approached by security personnel after leaving a commercial establishment. Witnesses stated that the actor possessed a receipt for the items he was carrying. The confrontation escalated when security guards allegedly prevented him from leaving and physically assaulted him. One witness reported that the guards even took the merchandise before the store manager intervened, confirmed the receipt, and returned the products to the actor.
