Actor So Ji Sub gifts gold to 300 crew members of ‘Agent Kim Reactivated’

South Korean actor So Ji Sub spent about 100 million won (roughly 1.8 billion VND) to purchase 1‑gram gold pieces for 300 people involved in the production of the drama “Agent Kim Reacti​vated.” Each gold bar was valued at about 300 000 won (≈5.3 million VND) at the time of purchase. The gesture was meant to thank the cast and crew for their hard work during filming.

This is not the first time the actor has given gold to colleagues; in 2025 he gifted gold to the crew of the series “Mercy For None.” One recipient, actor Yoon Kyung Ho, recounted receiving the gold, hiding it under his bed, and later seeing his eight‑year‑old son present the piece back to him as a birthday gift. The drama’s final episode aired on 25 July.
