Toma Cuzin placed under judicial control after Teleorman accident

Actor Toma Cuzin, known for his role in the series ‘Las Fierbinți’, has been placed under judicial control following a traffic accident in Teleorman County. The incident occurred on October 12 in the commune of Peretu, where Cuzin, driving a BMW, collided with another vehicle after failing to maintain a safe distance.

Authorities discovered that Cuzin was driving with a suspended license, a status that had been in effect since May 2025 due to a previous offense involving driving under the influence of psychoactive substances. While an initial breathalyzer test returned a zero result, preliminary drug tests indicated the presence of cocaine and cannabis. Biological samples have been sent for forensic toxicological analysis to confirm these findings.

Cuzin faces criminal charges for driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence of prohibited substances. This is not his first legal issue regarding road safety; he previously received a suspended one-year prison sentence in 2022 for similar offenses.
