Actors Camille Lou and Tom Leeb use Italian in Cat’s Eyes

In the second season of the series Cat’s Eyes, characters Tam and the Marquis engage in a dialogue in Italian. Director Alexandre Laurent revealed that the use of the language was an impromptu decision made during filming to enhance the scene.

According to Laurent, the idea arose after discovering that Camille Lou already possessed a strong command of Italian, a skill she had utilized in the first season. While the scene involved some improvisation to convey sincerity and humor between the characters, it is noted that performing scripted lines in a foreign language does not necessarily confirm the actors' ability to hold spontaneous conversations in that language.
