Actors Luis Zahera and Inma Cuesta promote new film and address housing crisis

Actors Luis Zahera and Inma Cuesta have discussed their upcoming film, ‘Leones de invierno’, directed by Albert Pintó. The thriller follows a father, played by Zahera, who investigates the death of his daughter after she is struck by an undercover police officer involved in organized crime.

During promotional appearances, Zahera spoke about the challenges of his craft, noting his inability to mask his Galician accent despite past industry requests for a ‘neutral’ Spanish. He also touched upon the physical toll of demanding action scenes.

Beyond the film, both actors addressed the current housing crisis in Spain. Zahera and Cuesta expressed the view that political parties have failed young people regarding housing accessibility. Cuesta noted that the financial difficulty of renting in cities like Madrid today would have made her own early career path nearly impossible.
