Actors Reza Rahadian and Kevin Julio discuss film Laut Bercerita

Actors Reza Rahadian and Kevin Julio have shared reflections on their characters, Biru Laut and Daniel Tumbuan, from the upcoming film adaptation of Leila S. Chudori’s novel, Laut Bercerita.

Kevin Julio expressed that his character, Daniel, would likely convey a deep longing for friendship and solidarity, imagining simple moments of togetherness like sharing a meal or laughing together. Reza Rahadian noted that his character, Biru Laut, would likely express gratitude to his partner, Ratih Anjani, and his sister, Asmara Jati, for their unwavering support, trust, and love.

Directed by Yosep Anggi Noen, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on October 29, 2026, following the Youth Pledge Day commemorations.
