Actress An Di Hien denied access to 155 billion VND savings account

Actress An Di Hien has been unable to access a foreign currency savings account belonging to her husband, Tran Vinh Luyen, which contains over 40 million NDT (approximately 155 billion VND).

Tran Vinh Luyen is currently serving a 14-year prison sentence following a conviction for money laundering. Taipei Fubon Bank has temporarily frozen the account, citing suspicions that the funds are linked to his criminal activities. Although Tran Vinh Luyen authorized An Di Hien to withdraw the funds using the savings book and official seal, the bank refused the request.

Legal attempts to recover the money have failed. Tran Vinh Luyen filed a lawsuit against Taipei Fubon Bank to demand the release of the deposits, but the court ruled in favor of the bank during the first instance. A subsequent appeal was also rejected, with the court upholding the original decision.
