Ania Niedieck talks dishwasher dispute in her marriage
Actress Ania Niedieck, known for playing Isabelle Reichenbach in the RTL series Alles was zählt, said in an interview with the Deutsche Presse‑Agentur that her husband accuses her of loading the family dishwasher incorrectly. He claims she packs it too full, so the dishes do not come out clean. Niedieck responded with a pragmatic attitude, saying, “Mein Motto dazu lautet in solchen Momenten einfach: Stell dich dumm und sei klug!” She added that clear division of household responsibilities is healthy: “If my husband sees the dishwasher as his absolute territory, he can take command there; I keep the laundry room and washing to myself.”
She also complained that the dishwasher is “unerträglich laut” and that she would like to replace it, but her husband – a business‑economics graduate – wants to keep the appliance as long as it still works, citing frugality. The actress, who has been married since 2015 and has two daughters, will appear soon in the RTL show Die Verräter – Vertraue Niemandem!.
