Baek revealed that she decided to marry her partner, a non-celebrity professional residing in Canada known by the English name Henry, due to the emotional stability he provides.

During the discussion, Baek noted that while she did not experience an immediate sense of certainty upon meeting him, her conviction grew as they spent time together. She emphasized that the ease with which they resolve conflicts was a significant factor in her decision, stating that “marriage cannot be lived on love alone.”

Baek described her fiancé as a calm and steady individual who helps alleviate the professional and economic anxieties often associated with being an actor. She also shared her personal approach to conflict resolution, which involves pausing conversations to avoid saying hurtful things during heated moments before reconciling rationally later.

The wedding is scheduled to take place on January 23, 2027, at a location in Seoul. Following the ceremony, the couple plans to split their time between South Korea and Canada.
