Actress Giulia Gam returns to stage and screen with new projects

Brazilian actress Giulia Gam is returning to the spotlight with multiple simultaneous projects in theater and digital streaming. Her career resurgence began on stage in 2025 with Teatro Oficina, performing in the Nelson Rodrigues classic ‘Senhora dos afogados’ in Rio de Janeiro. In this production, directed by Monique Gardenberg, Gam plays a member of a chorus of neighbors representing public opinion.

In addition to her theatrical work, Gam is involved in several Globoplay productions. She has appeared in the vertical soap opera ‘O acerto de contas das gêmeas trocadas’ and is filming the series ‘Resposta ao tempo’ alongside Débora Bloch, Drica Moraes, and Edvana Carvalho. The series follows a group of former professional swimmers in their 50s and addresses themes such as violence against women, ageism, and autonomy.
