Greek actress Katérina Papoutsaki disclosed in a recent interview that she was approached twice by different political parties with invitations to stand as a candidate in upcoming elections. She declined both offers, stating she prefers to contribute to society through her artistic work and civic engagement rather than through formal politics.

Papoutsaki emphasized her personal principles, saying, “I have never done an erotic strike in my life. I prefer other ways to defend peace in my relationships,” and added that she aims to influence public life by taking political positions on issues without bearing the personal or professional costs of candidacy.
