Actress Lê Khánh operates snail restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City

Vietnamese actress Lê Khánh, a prominent figure in Southern stage and film, has successfully established a side business operating snail restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City. Born in 1981, Lê Khánh has built a career spanning over two decades, with notable roles in productions such as ‘Mùi ngò gai’, ‘Hướng nghiệp’, and ‘Cuộc chiến hoa hồng’. She has also performed extensively on stage with the IDECAF and Thiên Đăng theaters.

Due to the unstable income associated with acting, Lê Khánh and her husband began their culinary venture in 2011. Starting with a single location on Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm Street, the business has expanded to two restaurants by 2026. While her husband manages much of the business operations, Lê Khánh remains involved and occasionally serves customers. She noted that the business provides her family with financial stability and expressed pride that customers return for the food quality rather than her celebrity status.
