Actress Maribel Verdú shares connection to Bilbao

Spanish actress Maribel Verdú has expressed her affection for Bilbao, referring to it as “the city of my loves” through recent social media posts. The actress shared memories of visiting the city, including stops at the Guggenheim Museum and the Plaza Eliptikoa.

Verdú maintains a deep personal connection to the Basque Country. Her husband, theatrical producer Pedro Larrañaga, has ancestry in Gipuzkoa, and the family maintains a home in the seaside town of Mutriku. Additionally, some of her professional film projects have been shot in the Biscay capital.
