Actress Michelle Wan Hospitalized with 50+ Stitches After On‑Set Accident

Hong Kong actress Michelle Wan (衛詩雅) was injured on July 30, 2026 while filming the new crime‑suspense series "狩謊" (Hunting Lies), produced by former TVB executive Eric Tsang. The accident caused severe injuries to her mouth and lips, requiring emergency surgery that involved more than 50 sutures. After the operation, Wan posted on Instagram thanking the plastic‑surgery team, anesthesiologists and nursing staff, and confirmed she can now eat and is recovering at home.

Her husband, Zhou Zhi'an, accompanied her to the hospital and supported her during treatment. The production company announced a full halt to filming while Wan rests. "狩謊" features a star‑studded cast including Cheng Yi, Yuan Yongyi and other Hong Kong and mainland actors, and marks Tsang’s first project after leaving TVB.
