Nivea Stelmann ends 14‑year marriage to Marcus Rocha

Brazilian actress Nivea Stelmann announced on the podcast Papagaio Falante that she is separated from husband Marcus Rocha after 14 years of marriage. She said the split was sudden, describing herself as “in shock” and noting that Rocha left their home and bought a new house within days. The couple, who live in Orlando, have a 12‑year‑old daughter, Bruna, and Stelmann also has a 21‑year‑old son, Miguel, from a previous relationship. Stelmann explained that a disagreement on 23 April, in which she felt Rocha did not take the stance she expected, led her to stop sleeping with him; Rocha then decided to move out. She emphasized that there was no infidelity and that they have different views on the cause of the breakup. The actress said she has not been able to cry, her voice is hoarse, and her therapist urges her to express her feelings. She expressed respect for her ex‑husband, calling him a “good person.”
