Actress Radha alleges Rs 46 crore fraud attempt by siblings

Veteran South Indian actress Radha has filed a police complaint with the Greater Chennai Police Commissioner alleging a fraudulent attempt to transfer approximately Rs 46 crore from her account. Radha claims that her sister, actress Ambika, and their brother, Mallikarjuna Kunjan Nair, conspired to misuse five signed blank cheques that were kept in her room for business expenses.

The actress discovered the attempt after receiving bank alerts on September 17th. She stated that the cheques were presented for encashment in Ambika’s name, but she was able to contact her bank immediately to stop the transactions, preventing any financial loss. Radha alleged that the cheques were accessed from her residence while she was away from Chennai.

The incident is reportedly part of a broader family dispute involving property and valuables. While Radha has accused her siblings of fraud, her brother Mallikarjuna has previously filed a separate complaint against her with the Kerala Police, alleging she attempted to seize his property.
