Actress Thu Quỳnh sets record for top-rated Vietnamese TV dramas

Vietnamese actress Thu Quỳnh has set a new record for the most top-rated television productions in the country, with six films reaching the number one rating spot, including ‘Lửa Trắng’. Her notable works include ‘Sống Chung Với Mẹ Chồng’, ‘Quỳnh Búp Bê’, and ‘Về Nhà Đi Con’.

Despite her significant success and fame on television, Thu Quỳnh continues her work as a stage actress at the Youth Theatre of Vietnam. Leadership at the theatre noted that the performance fee for stage artists, including Thu Quỳnh, is approximately 150,000 VND per show. This highlights a significant disparity between the high visibility of television stars and the relatively low compensation received for live theatrical performances.
