Actress Thu Quynh shares financial struggles of buying a home

Vietnamese actress Thu Quynh has shared her personal experience regarding the financial pressures of purchasing her first home. After over a decade in the industry, she decided to buy an apartment in Hanoi, utilizing both her personal savings and financial support from her parents.

Because her combined funds only covered one-third of the property's value, she opted for an installment plan. To ensure she met the payment schedule during the final stages, she sold her personal vehicle. Thu Quynh advised others against borrowing beyond their means, suggesting that mortgage loans should not exceed 50% of a home's value and monthly repayments should not exceed 30% of a family's income.
