Actress Weng Hong discusses daughter's studies at UCLA

Actress Weng Hong recently traveled to Hong Kong to support a charity gala organized by the Good Learning Charity Foundation, where she participated in creating a painted elephant sculpture. Following the event, she plans to return to mainland China to focus on her new business venture in short-video content creation.

Weng shared updates regarding her 19-year-old daughter, Liu Shi, who is currently studying biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Although Liu Shi received admissions and scholarship offers from eight to nine universities, she chose UCLA primarily due to the campus environment.

Weng also commented on her daughter's personal life, noting that she has granted her daughter “permission to date” now that she is in university. She mentioned that Liu Shi has already declined three suitors, citing her daughter's high standards for character, such as integrity and responsibility.
