Actress Yurike Prastika shares battle with stage 4 breast cancer

Senior actress Yurike Prastika has shared her experience fighting stage 4 breast cancer, which has metastasized to her spine. Speaking at the ‘Pink Move – A Movement for Better Health’ event during Car Free Day in Bekasi, Prastika highlighted the physical and mental challenges of her treatment process.

During the event, held to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Prastika emphasized the importance of early detection and self-examination (Sadari). She encouraged women to be more attentive to changes in their bodies to ensure health issues are identified as quickly as possible. Despite the difficulties of her diagnosis, she expressed gratitude for being able to return to her activities and stressed the necessity of family support and proper medical care.
