Acura Meyer Shank Racing Secures 1-2 Qualifying Sweep at Road America

British driver Nick Yelloly captured pole for the #93 Acura ARX‑06 with a 1:49.233 lap, putting Acura Meyer Shank Racing on the front row for the Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix at Road America. His teammate Tom Blomqvist was just 0.157 seconds slower in the sister #60 car, completing a 1‑2 lockout for the factory team. BMW’s Sheldon Van Der Linde rounded out the top three, while Cadillac’s Louis Deletraz was fourth.

In LMP2, Daniel Goldburg earned his class pole in United Autosport USA’s Oreca 07, beating Misha Goikhberg by 0.262 seconds. GTD Pro saw Harry King take pole for AO Racing’s #77 Porsche 911 GT3 R, edging Paul Miller Racing’s BMW M4 GT3 by 0.140 seconds. French driver Lilou Wadoux claimed her first GTD pole in an AF Corse USA Ferrari 296 GT3.

The session also featured penalties that nullified the best times of several competitors, including a BMW and an Aston Martin Valkyrie for causing a red flag during practice.
