Acura NSX Roadster from The Avengers to be auctioned

A unique Acura NSX Roadster, used as a hero car for the character Tony Stark in the film ‘The Avengers’, is being offered for auction through the Cars & Bids digital platform. The auction is tied to the Las Vegas Concours and is scheduled to conclude on October 31, 2026.

Built by Trans FX at the request of Acura’s Los Angeles design studio, the vehicle is a custom concept. While it features a handcrafted resin and fiberglass body designed to preview the look of the second-generation NSX, it is built upon the chassis of a 1991 Acura NSX. The car retains the original 3.0L V6 DOHC VTEC engine, producing approximately 270 hp, paired with a five-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Distinctive features include the ‘STARK 33’ license plate and a red paint scheme inspired by Iron Man’s armor. Due to its nature as a custom film prop and show car, the vehicle is not street-legal and cannot be registered for road use. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to an entity chosen by the buyer, with Acura providing an additional contribution to the Sundance Institute.
