ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup debuts in Sanremo

The ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup is making its Italian debut at the 73rd Sanremo Rally, marking the first time an all-electric one-make rally cup will compete on Italian soil. Taking place from October 16 to 18 on the Italian Riviera, the event features 13 teams from nine European nations competing in Opel Mokka GSE Rally cars.

The electric vehicles deliver up to 207 kW (281 hp) and 345 Nm of torque, offering performance comparable to modern Rally4 class cars. The competition features a tight championship battle, with Ioan Lloyd holding a narrow lead over Timo Schulz and Tom Dufour. The event utilizes the challenging tarmac stages and narrow mountain roads characteristic of the historic Sanremo region.
