Adam Abdellouche jailed after high-speed police pursuits

Adam Abdellouche, 19, has been sentenced to 23 months in prison and received a four-year driving disqualification following two high-speed police pursuits in the United Kingdom.

The first incident occurred in September 2024 in Peterborough, where Abdellouche fled from officers in a silver Vauxhall Astra, driving at 55mph in a 30mph zone and nearly colliding with other vehicles before crashing into a wall.

A second pursuit took place in April 2024 near Tallington, Lincolnshire. During this incident, Abdellouche drove at speeds exceeding 120mph, drove on the wrong side of the road, and ignored traffic signs. Police eventually stopped the vehicle using a stinger. Upon being searched, officers discovered a knife in his possession.

Abdellouche pleaded guilty at Cambridge Crown Court to counts of dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without a license, and possession of a knife in public.
