Adam Baallal signs first professional contract with AS Saint-Étienne

AS Saint-Étienne has officially signed 19-year-old Moroccan midfielder Adam Baallal to his first professional contract, which runs until June 2029. Baallal joined the club last winter and has rapidly progressed through the youth ranks, including the U19s and the reserve team.

During the summer preseason under manager Ian Cathro, Baallal distinguished himself by scoring goals in matches against Lausanne and Venice. He has already made his first appearances in Ligue 2 against Sochaux and Clermont.

Club sporting director Loïc Perrin praised both the player's technical abilities and his professional attitude, noting that the contract is a deserved reward for his rapid development since arriving from Morocco's Mohammed VI Football Academy.
