Adam Bresnu wins Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational
Adam Bresnu, a senior at Texas Tech University, won the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational held at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. Bresnu finished the tournament at 7-under 203, securing his first NCAA Division I individual title by one stroke over JD Culbreth of Georgia.
Through three rounds of 69, 67, and 67, Bresnu navigated a challenging course to finish as one of only seven players in the 80-person field to complete the event under par. His performance helped Texas Tech University tie for third in the team standings.
The victory earns Bresnu an exemption into the 2027 PGA TOUR Charles Schwab Challenge. Additionally, the win is expected to impact his standing in the PGA TOUR University Ranking and the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Bresnu is a participant in the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation’s ‘Road to the Tour’ program, which supports Moroccan golfers studying at American universities.
