Adam Copeland to face Steve Maclin at Maple Leaf Pro debut

Adam Copeland is scheduled to make his Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling debut against former TNA World Champion Steve Maclin. The match will take place on October 3 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto during the Northern Rising pay-per-view event.

Maclin accepted the challenge during an episode of MLP Mayhem, following a period of tension where he criticized Canadian wrestling as a ‘feeder system’ and questioned why Canadian stars seek success in the United States. Maclin, a former TNA World and International Champion, is currently a free agent.

The appearance marks a significant milestone for Copeland, who recently competed at Wembley Stadium and Arena Mexico. This event follows closely after his scheduled appearance at AEW All Out on September 26, where he and Christian Cage are set to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship in a three-way ladder match against FTR and The Young Bucks.
