Parramatta Eels edge Wests Tigers 16-13 in NRL showdown

Late in the second half, Parramatta Eels winger Isaiah Iongi intercepted a pass and ran through a gap to score the decisive try, giving the Eels a 16‑13 victory.

Doueihi’s return was highlighted by 96 running metres, six tackle breaks and a line break, but the Tigers suffered their seventh straight loss, committing 15 errors. The Eels also made numerous mistakes, recording 19 errors and a 67% completion rate, but capitalised on the Tigers’ mistakes to secure the win.
