Adam Gnezda Čerin proposed Timi Max Elšnik to Al Wahda

Slovenian midfielder Adam Gnezda Čerin revealed that he proposed teammate Timi Max Elšnik to his current club, Al Wahda, during the summer transfer window. Gnezda Čerin, who recently moved from Panathinaikos to the United Arab Emirates-based club, suggested Elšnik to the management because of their strong chemistry within the Slovenian national team.

Ultimately, the transfer did not materialize. Elšnik remained with Crvena zvezda in Belgrade, where he maintains an important role. Gnezda Čerin noted that while the move did not happen this time, he remains hopeful that the two teammates might play together at the club level in the future.
