Adam Hamilton runs for U.S. Senate in Kansas

The Reverend Adam Hamilton, pastor of the Resurrection United Methodist Church, is running as a Democrat for the U.S. Senate in Kansas. Hamilton, 62, recently returned to preaching at his megachurch following his April announcement regarding his candidacy.

Hamilton leads a large, politically diverse congregation that reaches more than 20,000 attendees on average Sundays through various worship sites. His campaign is notable as he seeks to challenge Republican control in a state previously won by Donald Trump by more than 16 points.
