Adam Małysz says Poland’s progress reshapes foreign perception

Former ski jumper Adam Małysz appeared in a YouTube documentary produced by the channel Ojwojtek, stating that Poland is now perceived very differently abroad after two to three decades of development. He said, “Poland has developed a lot in the last 20‑30 years. We don’t appreciate how far Poland has come,” and noted that visitors from other countries are increasingly surprised by the country’s advancement.

The film also featured other Polish public figures such as athlete Konrad Bukowiecki and journalist‑chef Robert Makłowicz. Małysz recounted that his cousin’s family, who live in the Netherlands, were shocked by the improved living conditions in Poland and have been returning regularly ever since.
