Adam McKay and Noah Centineo to produce new thriller ‘Seeker’

Director Adam Carter Rehmeier is set to helm a new thriller titled ‘Seeker’, which centers on a chaotic and dangerous Uber ride. The film follows an Uber driver obsessed with locating his missing fiancée, whose search intensifies after he picks up a passenger who may hold information regarding her disappearance.

The project is described as a tense, unpredictable night blending paranoia, violence, and dark comedy. The film is being produced by Adam McKay and Kevin Messick through Hyperobject Industries, with Noah Centineo and Enzo Marc producing via Arkhum Productions. Hammerstone Studios is also involved in financing and production alongside Alex Lebovici and Jon Oakes.

This project marks a shift for Rehmeier, who previously directed works such as ‘Dinner in America’ and ‘Snack Shack’, moving from comedy and coming-of-age stories into darker thriller territory.
