Adam McRay indicted on 17 counts of sexual abuse in Kentucky
Adam McRay, a 34-year-old teacher and former Marion County High School Band Director, has been arrested and indicted on 17 counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
The investigation, initiated in late May following a request from the Lebanon Police Department, involved allegations of sexual contact with at least two juvenile students. On August 6, a Marion County Grand Jury returned the indictment.
McRay was arrested on August 10 and is currently held at the Marion County Detention Center in Lebanon on a $50,000 cash bond. He is scheduled for arraignment at Marion Circuit Court on August 17. Kentucky State Police noted that the investigation is ongoing and additional charges in other counties may follow.
