Adam Ounas transfer talks with MC Alger stall over signing bonus

Negotiations between Algerian international Adam Ounas and MC Alger regarding a potential transfer have reached a complex stage. While an agreement in principle has been reached regarding his monthly salary, a significant financial dispute remains.

Ounas has reportedly lowered his salary expectations to 80,000 euros per month, down from a previous demand of 100,000 euros. However, the transfer is currently stalled because the player is requesting an immediate upfront payment of seven monthly salaries, totaling 560,000 euros. MC Alger's management has expressed concerns that this amount is beyond their immediate reach and that such a large advance would violate internal club policies, which typically limit advances to 20% of the total contract value.

As a free agent, Ounas is also considering other career paths. Some reports suggest he may prioritize opportunities in Qatar or a return to European football to pursue higher sporting ambitions, as his annual salary requirements—estimated around 1.5 million euros—remain difficult for most Algerian clubs to meet.
