Adam Page rejects Texas Death Match stipulation for AEW Full Gear

AEW star “Hangman” Adam Page has officially declined a request from Swerve Strickland to compete in a Texas Death Match at the upcoming Full Gear event. While Page and his partners, Brody King and Bandido, have agreed to defend the AEW World Trios Championship against Strickland and The New Level, the specific match format remains a point of contention.

During an episode of AEW Dynamite, Strickland proposed the dangerous Texas Death Match stipulation, citing their previous history. Page rejected the demand, stating he would not allow his teammates to be subjected to such a match. This follows a storyline where Page previously lost a Texas Death Match to MJF, a defeat that barred him from challenging for the AEW World Championship.

In related action, Swerve Strickland secured a 25-second victory in a squash match against Tome Filip on Dynamite. Following the win, Strickland took to social media to assert his dominance, stating he is “not paid by the hour.”
